Red Books Day es un evento internacional en donde se planifica la lectura y discusión de un texto en una fecha elegida. Distintos grupos alrededor del mundo organizan sus propias secciones locales.
Uno de los grupos organizando una instancia de Red Books Day se reunió el pasado 21 de febrero en la librería Red Ink de Rhode Island para leer el texto escogido este año, el Manifiesto Comunista de Marx y Engels. En medio de la lectura, un grupo de unos doce individuos de la agrupación neonazi NSC 131 interrumpió la actividad golpeando las ventanas, gritando insultos raciales con un megáfono y amenazando a los asistentes.
