Creo que compararlos con Sokal es injusto. Esto es lo que Sokal tuvo que decir sobre su parodia:

Mientras tanto esto es lo que los liberaloides dijeron sobre su espectáculo:

Sólo porque les aceptaron sus parodias en unas revistas de cierta disciplina no le quita importancia a esa disciplina y mucho menos a sus utilidades prácticas, ni tampoco significa que enormes teorías sociales deban ser eliminadas, significa que los estándares en la revisión de artículos entre pares son una mierda y que necesitan ser corregidos. Me da curiosidad qué proponen los autores que hagamos, ¿que simplemente dejemos de pensar sobre la relación entre el poder y el conocimiento? ¿Desechar décadas de trabajo al respecto? ¿Que cada trabajo siga sus (poco definidas) reglas para así obtener Conocimiento Real™? No creo que ninguna de estas opciones lidien adecuadamente con los problemas que los autores han mostrado que existen en la academia.
