La Seremi de Salud de la región Metropolitana alertó sobre un nuevo robo de un densímetro nuclear que se registró en la capital durante el miércoles 10 de abril y llamó a no manipular el elemento por el peligro que implica, ya que si es abierto, golpeado, desarmado o perforado puede quedar expuesto su material radioactivo, el cual es altamente peligroso para los humanos y el ambiente.

Los densimetros no usan uranio como material radioactivo si no cesio.
Y hablando de cesio, ese es el mismo elemento que usan varios equipos medicos radiologicos para los cuales es muy probable que exista un mercado negro.

Avísenme cuando hayan estudios consistentes sobre teléfonos emitiendo radiación ionizante en lugar de simple energía de radiofrecuencia.
