Con el drama sobre el FSF me enteré de la existencia de este sistema de pagos libre en una entrevista de Stallman hablando en contra de las criptomonedas. Al parecer aún está en pañales pero se ve prometedor.

Suena bien. Básicamente todo lo que las criptomonedas deberían haber sido, una forma segura de pago, y no otra forma de especulación.

Me da rabia que estas cosas sean tan nicho mientras basura como paypal sea prácticamente el estándar.

Lo probé y está muy bueno. Es bastante simple y efectivo. Ni idea por qué nadie lo ha implementado.
paypal resuelve un problema de las masas. taler resuelve un problema ético. No están al mismo nivel de uso.
eMule resolvía un problema de las masas y triunfó. Simplemente busca una solución para las masas pero que no resulte rentable al capital y triunfará de todos modos.
El punto de Taler es intentar estar al mismo nivel de uso que Paypal.
PayPal va a recibir criptomonedas como forma de pago.

Buena plataforma para cuando BaI necesite donaciones para correr.
La app de cartera de F-droid dice que es experimental y que no está lista para producción.
