Is there any language that you've studying or plan to learn someday?
I started studying English over the Internet while I was like 8 years old. I guess my writing proficiency is okay but my speaking skills are still terrible.
I've also been studying French. I tried to learn Russian but failed miserably.

I'm a native Spanish speaker. My mom tried to teach me English since I was 5, and tried learning by playing old video games. Then I found the miraculous world of the Internet and started learning much faster by talking to people in English communities. Now I'd say I'm very proficient writing and reading and I can recognize spoken English, but when I try to speak in English I get nervous and start pronouncing like an idiot.
I'd love to learn Japanese so I wouldn't have to wait for others to translate media I enjoy (VNs, video games, manga, etc.), but I'm way too lazy.

I learnt english basically by just going to the internet and playing videogames, nobody in my family speaks english and I've never had an english class.
I guess the internet does have some good things.

I learned Japanese a few years back, it's completely useless besides porn. But it's a fun language I guess.

Actually, German high schools often teach Latin as an optional subject. I know a friend who learnt Latin and Spanish in parallel, and it seems that the former helped her to understand the latter.
Awesome, I wish schools here teached latin too.

People who blame things on "imperialism" are usually losers who like to blame everything under the sun except themselves for their own failures and poor life choices.
I admit, I'm actually responsible for ISIS, not imperialism.
>>21so you're saying 18 is to blame?! ('A`)
ISIS is a case that's a combination of interventionist blowback and Muslims Musliming it up. Now having said that, I don't support these illegitimate proxy wars in the Middle East, nor having our country being the police of the world. I'd like to get us back to the idea of "peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none" which would make us a respected and humble nation in the eyes of the world once again, instead of this degenerated state we're in at the moment.

>peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none
I don't know, I don't mean to start a fight over a casual talk like this, but that sound like every anarcho-capitalist slogan ever.
>>23Not specifically aimed at 18, it was more of a general stab at this perpetual professional victimhood mentality that much of contemporary leftism espouses that paradoxically actually paralyzes people from achieving their fullest potential in life.
>>26>but that sound like every anarcho-capitalist slogan ever.It actually comes from Washington's and Jefferson's inaugural addresses. Washington was a Federalist and if he were alive today, I doubt that he would hold much respect for today's narrow libertarians and anarcho-capitalists. Jefferson was closer to that ideal, but even he eventually saw the utility in having the state do necessary intervention when it becomes an absolute necessity. Still, we've strayed quite far from this kind of foreign policy philosophy and the results have been more of a horror than a blessing.
>>21Of course you would say that. Your society benefits directly from the hegemony of the US dollar - a hegemony which responds with military invasion when challenged. (e.g. Saddam planning to sell Iraqi oil for Euros and Qaddafi planning to create a gold-backed currency for African oil trade right before they were removed by the USA)
>>29>a hegemony which responds with military invasion when challenged. (e.g. Saddam planning to sell Iraqi oil for Euros and Qaddafi planning to create a gold-backed currency for African oil trade right before they were removed by the USA)If you read my subsequent post (
>>24) I don't support such things and I strongly believe in independent national sovereignty. Our ruling political elite here, however, hold a diametrically opposite view. My society at large also largely doesn't benefit from such actions as most people here are working crazy hours just to eke out a meager living for themselves (forget about any children they have, unless they decide to sign up for state benefits like EBT, SNAP and TANF). Hopefully, you guys in Bulgaria are keeping the violent, raping and murdering bipedal detritus from our elite's illegitimate wars out of your country (At least two members of the Visegrád Group are doing so), if your own elite betray you, hope you guys can legally own guns (and especially carry them!).

>>30>My society at large also largely doesn't benefit from such actions as most people here are working crazy hours just to eke out a meager living for themselves (forget about any children they have, unless they decide to sign up for state benefits like EBT, SNAP and TANF).You have the Chinese communists to thank for that. Well... them and their allies in your government. Between them they shipped all the good jobs to China. Same happened all over the developed countries in the European Union as well. Still, I don't think the US can maintain its status as the world's largest economy and most advanced and abundant consumer market without the dollar's hegemony.
>Hopefully, you guys in Bulgaria are keeping the violent, raping and murdering bipedal detritus from our elite's illegitimate wars out of your countryMuch to the disapproval of the public, our government did participate in the Afghanistan and Iraq war shortly after Bush gave out his ultimatum of "you're either with us or you're with the terrorists" to the world.
>if your own elite betray you, hope you guys can legally own guns (and especially carry them!). There is no legitimate elite here. All of the wealthiest people are linked with organized crime and all of the lesser business and political figures have to abide by the rules of the mafia. Organized crime and corruption permeate all aspects of the society. You can give bribes to government officials to solve any personal problem you might have. You can buy an illegal gun easily. You can even sell Toyota pickup trucks to ISIS if you want and you won't get into trouble. (For some reason they only buy Toyota)
>>31>Still, I don't think the US can maintain its status as the world's largest economy and most advanced and abundant consumer market without the dollar's hegemony. You're right, in fact, that's probably what's keeping everything afloat (for now).
>Much to the disapproval of the public, our government did participate in the Afghanistan and Iraq war shortly after Bush gave out his ultimatum of "you're either with us or you're with the terrorists" to the world. That's scary. I can imagine then some future president here giving you guys another ultimatum: "accept these refugees/migrants permanently into your country by the millions, don't bother to even vet them and accept this diversity and all the domestic social load and problems that come along with that, or you're with the enemy!". That's basically what they're trying to do to Viktor Orbán and Hungary, but he doesn't budge, builds a working patrolled border fence to keep out illegal entry and is childishly referred to as a "fascist" for giving at least a ¼ of a fuck about his country and its citizens. Same with Poland.
As for nearly the rest of your post, it seems like it's becoming that way here as well and we're on our way to becoming (if not already) a northern banana republic.
>You can buy an illegal gun easily.Much easier than if one were to go about obtaining one through the legal route, I bet. I'll check off your country as yet another reason why gun control needs to continue to be resisted here.
>You can even sell Toyota pickup trucks to ISIS if you want and you won't get into trouble. (For some reason they only buy Toyota)ISIS uses the Toyota Hilux (which is available worldwide, except here and a handful of other countries, but we do have a similar less rugged model called "Tacoma"), which is an incredibly reliable and durable pickup truck. They can easily clock in half a million miles (~805,000 km) and still keep going pretty strong.

The European Union is already trying to force us to do that. But instead we lock up illegal migrants in detention camps. Few of them are ever heard from again after they wind up in such a facility. God knows what the government does to them. Either they're sent to the northern border where they can continue their journey to Germany or they're just gassed, who knows.

Everyone in the Eastern European colonies, err I mean member states of the EU sides with Orban. Mediterranean Europe (Greece, Italy, etc.) is beginning to wake up too. For some reason only Anglos and Germanics believe they should give citizenship to every naked savage who shows up at their doorstep.
>Much easier than if one were to go about obtaining one through the legal route, I bet.
It's not that the requirements are that difficult to meet. The bureaucracy is just too much of a hassle to deal with. And if the government knows you have a gun, they always pester you. Some kind of shooting or armed robbery happens in your area, they come to your house to inspect your gun and bullets. Most people don't want to deal with being treated as guilty before proven innocent, so a lot of them who want guns just buy illegal ones.
beyond spanish, i can only read english. no write, no talk (i believe, that is because the juicy information in internet)
